Ok, everybody know these bands by know, but still I had the urge to make this compilation. It's a really long time I've done it and I really enjoy making those. Yeah I did it for my - now obsolete - old blog, although the frequency was dramatically low - yeah 3 comps in a year or so - within the end a total of 3 compilations :'). But that ain't gonna happen here, although I never want to rush these compilations, no doubt there will be more coming this way, this year.
I don't know these bands man. What can I expect?
Well, in that case...expect some heavy riffing sludge, growling beasts and blackish hardcore, with one or two exceptions that are more in the melancholic regions of the post-rock genre. But most of all, I think these are some astounding - obviously not only, I still need material for other compilations ya'know - dark gems from 2010.
